Why not a franchise-Why a business affiliation

El hecho de que un negocio pueda ser franquiciado, no necesariamente es la mejor via de multiplicar los beneficios del mismo. US es uno de los países donde el negocio de las franquicias no es un negocio, es una obligación al franquiciador, por lo extenso de las regulaciones, tanto de franquiciador, como de la Asociacion de franquicias, el estado, el condado, las leyes Federales, el Landlord, etc. Si se viene de otro país buscando mejorar su calidad de vida, la Franquicia no es precisamente la opción que contribuye a este objetivo, se termina trabajando para los demás. La opción es afíliate y la afiliación no te la ofrecen os negocios.

  1. Questionable

    Most franchise owners don't provide much information to potential buyers regarding earnings possibilities. Even the franchisors who do supply this information usually give only average sales figures and profits before expenses are deducted, numbers that aren't very helpful when trying to determine whether your individual franchise will be successful.

La propuesta de negocio NHP no genera obligaciones sobre ubicación de tiendas, tamaño de tiendas, no se cobra ningún fee, solo existe la obligación de participar con el master store, en la compra de los suplementos via el master lo que genera sin duda economía de escala y el aporte para publicidad conjunta, el cual no implica que las tiendas instaladas hagan además su propia publicidad.

  2. High start-up costs

    Before opening your franchise, you may be required to pay a non-refundable initial franchise fee, anywhere from several thousand to several hundred thousand dollars. In addition you'll have to pay a lot to furnish your franchise with the necessary inventory and equipment. It can easily take several years to recoup all these expenses.

  3. Encroachment

    Imagine that you've just spent thousands of dollars opening your own GasMart station, when another GasMart station opens across the street. There goes half your customer base. This type of thing happens to franchisees all the time, as nearly every franchisor reserves the right to operate anywhere they want.


    El negocio fuera de las obligaciones de una franquicia es de libre escogencia del sitio del mismo, no hay obligaciones sobre su tamaño , ni su ubicación. La fortaleza económica de quien participe en un negocio NHP no se traslada a la tienda Master, queda en manos del interesado en la instalación del negocio, lo que le facilitara competir en el mercado con quienes pretendan copiar la idea.

  4. Lack of legal recourse

    As a franchisee, you have little legal recourse if you're wronged by the franchisor. Most franchisors make franchisees sign agreements waiving their rights under federal and state law, and in some cases allowing the franchisor to choose where and under what law any dispute would be litigated. Shamefully, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigates only a small minority of the franchise-related complaints it receives.


    La participación en negocios NHP no obliga a quien participe a los términos de las franquicias que como es un standard tienen que ser aceptados y al final del dia se convierten en barreras para quien se inicia en el negocio.

  5. Limited independence

    When you buy a franchise, you're not just buying the right to use the franchisor's name, you're buying its business plan as well. Most franchisors impose price, appearance, and design standards, limiting the ways you can operate the franchise. While these standards can help promote.


    Quien participa en los negocios NHP que No es una franquicia, no esta obligado a aceptar condiciones o términos legales, comerciales y económicos extensos, solo se obliga a vender productos NHP (marca registrada) y abastecer su inventario via la master, no existe otro tipo de obligación salvo la publicidad conjunta con la master y sus otras tiendas.

  6. Royalty payments

    Most franchisees must make royalty payments to the franchisor each month based on a percentage of sales, eating into the franchisee's net profits.


    No existe el pago de un royalti en la afiliación NHP. La afiliación NHP esta enfocada a reducir costos via economía de escala, a generar fortalezas via la unión, diversificación mas que al debilitamiento de sus asociados. Las ideas de quien participe en la afiliación se plantean en las reuniones bimensuales para tal fin donde se evaluara y se tomaran decisiones conjuntas para el beneficio de la Master y sus filiales.

  7. Inflated pricing on supplies

    In many cases, the franchisor can designate your franchise's supplier of goods and services. They argue that this is to maintain quality control, but almost all franchisors receive kickbacks from the vendors. By not allowing you to shop around, you're forced to pay higher prices on supplies.


    No existe en la afiliación en NHP. La diversidad de suplidores para el tipo de “ comodity” garantiza que se suple al cliente final el mejor complemento alimenticio al mejor precio. Y este es trasladado alos afiliados que participe en la compra de dicho complemento.

  8. Restrictions on post-term competition

    Let's say that you decide to purchase a hamburger franchise, but after a couple of years you determine that you could run a higher-quality, more profitable burger joint on your own. Unfortunately, due to noncompetition clauses built into almost every franchise agreement, franchisees are not allowed to become independent business owners in a similar business after termination of the franchise agreement. By purchasing a franchise, you may be unwittingly limiting your business opportunities for years after the expiration of your contract.


  9. Advertising fees

    Many franchisees are obligated to make regular contributions to the franchisor's advertising fund. But will they use the money to advertise your franchise? Quite possibly not! Franchisors maintain broad discretion over how to administer the advertising fund. In a case against Meineke Discount Muffler Shops, for example, it was discovered that Meineke was using the advertising fund for costs wholly separate from advertising, yet the court ruled in Meineke's favor, saying that the franchisor has no fiduciary duty to its franchisees.


    Esto no sucederá en la afiliación NHP. NHP reportara a sus afiliadas la inversión realizada en publicidad. Por considerarse que la publicidad es necesaria, las filiales si estaran obligadas a participar en la publicidad, sin embargo los foros bimensuales de las filiales se consitutyen en una via para regular esta inversión o establecer opciones favorables al negocio, en caso de ser necesario.

  10. Unfair termination

    Even the slightest impropriety on your part, such as being late on a royalty payment or violating the franchise's standard operating procedure, can be cause for the franchisor to terminate your agreement. While most franchisors are not this strict, the possibility of losing your entire investment for being late on a payment is downright scary.


    Este tipo de situacion no se presenta en la afiliacion NHP, dado que no existen obligaciones sobre el pago de royalties.

  11. The unit business is very expensive to develop

    A two-million dollar unknown car wash business would be a difficult concept to sell as a franchise. Not many developers with that level of money to invest will seek out a franchised concept unless it is quite well-established and has a strong track record of performance (think McDonald’s).


    El concepto de franquicia es honeroso, el concepto de afiliación es participativo, no es costoso y el dueño del nuevo negocio esta en la libertad de hacer su propia selección de sitio (cerca de su entorno), horario, etc. Su unica obligación esta establecida en el contrato, y se refiere al suministro de complementos via la Master y la participación en la publicidad organizada de la Master.
